The continuation and growth of Green Building Construction practices has become an integral part of our industry. United States Green Building Council (USGBC) has updated LEED for certifying and evaluating how "green " your building is. Mark Landon, AIA and Judy McNealus will be presenting an informative introduction of the LEED product and process. The presentation will review the following questions: What is a green building? Who is USGBC? What is the LEED system?

Speaker Biography

Mark A. Landon, AIA, NCARB, LEED Accredited
Mr. Landon is from Crandell Associates Architects and Facility Planners, P.C. in Glens Falls, NY. He has 20 years of experience as a project Architect and Manager. Mr. Landon has been LEED Accredited since 2002 and has continued his focus on environmentally sound practices and sustainable design.

Judith McNealus Judith M. McNealus is a project manager from Crandell Associates Architects and Facility Planners, P.C. Judy has 30 years of experience. Judy has worked on a wide range of projects from Residential to International Projects incorporating Sustainable design aspects. She is currently responsible for project design, design development, construction documents, and coordination of projects with a strong focus on environmentally sound practices.
